Is it permissible for a pilgrim to combine the Tawaf al-Ifadah and the Farewell Tawaf with a single intention as his last act in Hajj, in the event that he is unable to stay overnight and perform the rammy during the days of Tashreeq?

The Farewell Tawaf is not prescribed in Hajj except after completing all the rituals. Therefore, whoever performs the Farewell Tawaf before completing the obligatory Hajj rituals, their Tawaf is not counted and is considered as if they abandoned it, and they must offer a sacrifice (dam) for abandoning an obligation.

The Farewell Tawaf is the last of the Hajj rites, and it is not permissible for it to precede any of them. So, whoever performs the Farewell Tawaf before stoning the Jamarat or spending the night in Mina, their Tawaf occurred out of its proper time and is considered as if it never happened.

If the pilgrim travels before completing the Hajj rites or performs the Farewell Tawaf at an improper time, they must offer a sacrifice (dam); because they would have performed the Farewell Tawaf at an improper time, and it is considered in the حكم (ruling) of one who abandoned it. And whoever abandons an obligation must offer a sacrifice (dam) to be slaughtered in Mecca and distributed among the poor.
