Is it permissible for a pilgrim, after completing the rites of Hajj on the Day of Sacrifice, and before throwing the Jamarat and performing the Farewell Tawaf, to go out to Al-Taneem to perform Umrah on behalf of a deceased person, then return to complete the remaining rituals, knowing that he may delay the Ifadah Tawaf to combine it with the Farewell Tawaf? And is another Farewell Tawaf required after performing this additional Umrah before departing Makkah?

The 'Umrah is not valid if it is combined with the Hajj according to the majority of scholars. Therefore, it is not permissible to enter into Ihrām for it before completing the rituals of Hajj. It is permissible to delay the circumambulation of Ifadah (Tawaf al-Ifadah) to combine it with the circumambulation of Farewell (Tawaf al-Wada'), and one circumambulation will suffice for both. Performing 'Umrah on behalf of the deceased is valid, and its reward reaches the deceased. The circumambulation of Farewell should ideally be the last of the rituals. However, if Tawaf al-Ifadah and Tawaf al-Wada' are combined, and then you perform 'Umrah, you are not required to perform another Farewell circumambulation because the circumambulation of 'Umrah suffices for the Farewell circumambulation.
