Does the cupper break his fast outside of Ramadan if he was fasting and performed cupping for someone else?

The preponderant view is that cupping (hijama) does not invalidate the fast of a fasting person. This is the madhhab of the majority of jurists, in contrast to Imam Ahmad. To avoid disagreement, to respect the view of those who say it invalidates the fast, and because it may weaken the fasting person, it is recommended to perform it at night if possible.
