Is one who burns papers containing Quranic verses, books of Fiqh, magazines, and pictures, then buries them, considered sinful?

If the papers and books are usable, it is not permissible to burn them, as this is a waste of money. Repentance and seeking forgiveness are required. However, if they are unusable and one wishes to dispose of them by burning, there is no harm in that, as long as they are clean. It is preferable to burn the Qur’an and pictures separately, out of reverence for the sanctity of the Qur’an. Afterwards, there is no harm in burying them together after burning.
