Is it permissible to dispose of religious books, such as "Tafsir Ibn Kathir," by burning them in a wood-fired water heater located outdoors?

It is permissible to dispose of Qur'anic manuscripts (masaḥif) and books containing Qur'anic verses or the beautiful names of Allah (Asma' Allah al-Husna) by burying them, burning them, or tearing them in a way that obliterates the letters and words. However, this must be done in a manner that does not disrespect them. Therefore, it is not permissible to burn them in a heater inside a lavatory. They must be protected from disrespect, for they are the words of Allah.
