How can it be reconciled that Laylat al-Qadr is known to be the night in which the Qur’an was revealed, with the saying that it should be sought during the last ten days of Ramadan?

The Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, knew the exact night of Laylat al-Qadr, but then it was made to be forgotten by him due to divine wisdom. The evidence for this is the hadith of Ubadah ibn al-Samit, may Allah be pleased with him, in Bukhari, and the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, in Muslim. The meaning of "sending down" in the noble verse is the descent of the Qur’an to the lowest heaven all at once on Laylat al-Qadr, and then it was revealed to the Prophet, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, in parts.
