Does a dispute between a father and an aunt lead to sin by severing ties of kinship, even if the aunt visits on her part?

The Sharia has commanded maintaining ties even if there is a reason for severance, and has encouraged forgiveness and pardon. The one who maintains ties is not he who reciprocates, but rather he who connects with his kin when they are cut off. Therefore, you must maintain ties with your paternal aunt, treat her kindly, and try to reconcile between her and your father. It is not permissible for you to agree with your father in severing ties with his sister.
