Is it permissible for a man to work in the field of cosmetology, which includes facelifts and lip augmentation, and is the money earned from it lawful?

A man's work in beautifying women is impermissible. As for beautifying men, there is no objection to it, provided that the cosmetic procedures are permissible. Facelifts, if performed to increase beauty or remove signs of aging, are not permissible. However, if they are for treating disfiguring pathological effects, then there is no harm in them. It was stated in the resolution of the Islamic Fiqh Academy that it is not permissible to remove wrinkles by surgery or injection unless it is a pathological condition, provided there is no risk of harm.
