Cosmetic surgeries for the purpose of adornment and seeking beauty are impermissible, unless they are for removing a disfiguring defect. Therefore, a facelift to remove wrinkles resulting from a defect is permissible. However, if it is to remove the usual signs of aging or merely to seek beauty, it is not permissible. The same ruling applies to eyebrow lifts and body sculpting surgery.
