The question

Is it permissible for someone who suffers from continuous urinary incontinence for about an hour, after which the urge to urinate returns, to perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, combine two prayers, and also pray the Sunnahs? And is not seeking medical help considered a sin?

The answer

Firstly: If the urine flow stops for a sufficient period for purification and prayer, then you are not considered to have incontinence. You must perform ablution and pray after the urine flow stops, even if you miss the congregational prayer. It is recommended to relieve yourself well before the prayer time.

Secondly: If it becomes difficult for you to perform prayers on time due to illness, you are permitted to combine two prayers (Dhuhr and Asr, or Maghrib and Isha), either by performing them earlier (taqdim) or delaying them (ta'khir). This is the view of the Hanbali school.

Thirdly: It is advisable to consult a doctor to treat the medical condition, in order to remove the hardship and enable you to perform acts of worship on time and in congregation.
