What is the ruling on importing and selling multi-purpose glass vessels (for wine and halal beverages) to hotels and restaurants, with the strong presumption that they will sometimes be used for what Allah has forbidden?

There is no harm in importing utensils and glasses, but it is not permissible to sell them to someone who is suspected of using them for unlawful purposes, such as selling juice to someone who will turn it into wine. However, if they will be used for lawful purposes, or if the unlawful use is not predominant, then selling them is not forbidden. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his Companions dealt with Jews despite their committing forbidden acts.
