What is the share of the mother, the father, the three brothers, and the wife from the inheritance?

If the deceased has no relatives other than those mentioned, then the inheritance is divided as follows:

1. The wife: receives one-quarter, due to the absence of any lineal descendants of the deceased, as Allah Almighty says: "And for them [wives] is one fourth of what you leave if you do not have a child." 2. The mother: receives one-sixth, because the presence of siblings prevents her from receiving the full one-third, even if they are themselves excluded by the father. 3. The father: receives one-sixth as a fixed share (fard), and the remainder by residuary inheritance (ta'sib), as Allah Almighty says: "And for his parents, each one of them is to have a sixth of what he left if he had a child. But if he had no child and his parents inherited from him, then for his mother is one third. And if he had siblings, then for his mother is a sixth," and according to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Give the prescribed shares to those who are entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male heir." 4. The siblings: do not inherit anything from this estate; because they are excluded by the father.

It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts for investigation and to ensure that there are no other heirs, or wills, or debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
