How can one deal with a mother who curses her son over trivial matters?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade parents from supplicating against their children. Therefore, you must avoid anything that causes your mother distress and her supplicating against you. Be patient with her and respond to her mistreatment with righteousness and kindness. It is not permissible for you to mistreat her, even if she mistreats you. If they strive to make you associate partners with Allah, do not obey them, but accompany them in this world with kindness. The distress in your soul due to her actions is not held against you, as long as it does not result in harm to her.
