How can one deal with a mother who insists on interfering in every detail of her adult son's life, and threatens to curse him if he does not obey her commands?

Excessive maternal interference in the lives of her children is not advisable and has negative consequences. The son should, however, find excuses for her due to her compassion, and obey her as much as possible in matters that do not involve disobedience, in order to gain her pleasure and righteousness, for in the parents' pleasure lies Allah's pleasure. There is no blame for disliking her reprehensible actions, but one must beware of any bad behavior towards her that leads to disobedience (to parents) and the Lord's wrath. A parent's supplication is answered, even if it is unjust. It is recommended to be patient with her and supplicate for her guidance, and to remember that she endured pain and sleepless nights for him when he was young.
