What are the husband's rights over his wife after the marriage contract and before consummation, given that there are two conflicting fatwas regarding this?

Upon the conclusion of a valid marriage contract, it becomes permissible for the husband to enjoy his wife in ways such as looking, seclusion, and intercourse. The wife has the right to refuse to surrender herself until she receives her prompt mahr (dowry). However, if she surrenders herself before receiving her mahr, she no longer has the right to refuse thereafter. The child resulting from intercourse is attributed to his father, and inheritance occurs between the spouses if one of them dies before consummation, and the sadaq (dowry) is completed, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The child is for the firash (bed/marriage), and for the fornicator is the stone."
