Rajab and the Sacred Months
- Is the hadith “Rajab is the month of seeking forgiveness for my Ummah” authentic?
- Is there a specific supplication that is recommended to be said on the first night of Rajab, such as "O Allah, bless us in Rajab and Sha'ban and enable us to reach Ramadan"?
- How many days must one fast during the Sacred Months? And is fasting on Mondays and Thursdays of every month the same as fasting during the Sacred Months, or is it unrelated?
- Is it correct to call the month of Rajab "al-Asamm" (the Deaf) because no fighting is heard in it, and "Rajm" (Stoning) for stoning enemies and devils in it; and is the Hadith: "Five nights in which supplications are not rejected: the first night of Rajab, the night of the middle of Sha'ban, Friday night, the night of Eid al-Fitr, and the night of Eid al-Adha" authentic?

Is it obligatory to give it in the country of residence or in one's homeland? And is delaying it until traveling for the annual leave to give it by hand, to avoid showing off, considered a legitimate excuse, especially if the period between its due time and the leave is approximately two months?
