What is the ruling regarding a man having sexual intercourse with his wife during the daytime in Ramadan, and what are the conditions for the necessary expiation?

Whoever commits adultery with a foreign woman during the daytime in Ramadan has committed a grave sin. As for whoever has intercourse with his wife during the daytime in Ramadan, he must offer expiation for intercourse, which is fasting for two consecutive months. If he is unable to do so, then he must feed sixty poor people. And the freeing of a slave is mostly not available.
