How can one make up for three days of Ramadan fasting missed two years ago due to pregnancy and breastfeeding, and is feeding (of the poor) required alongside the fasting, or can it be performed later?

A pregnant or breastfeeding woman is permitted to break her fast if she fears severe harm to herself or to her fetus/infant. She must make up the days she missed (qada') along with offering a fidyah (feeding one poor person for each day) if the breaking of the fast was solely for the sake of the fetus/child. This is the more cautious approach. If she delays making up the three days without a valid excuse until the next Ramadan arrives, and she is capable of making them up, then she must offer another fidyah (feeding one poor person for each day). However, if the delay was due to a continuous excuse, forgetfulness, or ignorance, then she is not required to feed anyone. The feeding (fidyah) may be given along with the make-up fasts, or before, or after. Making up the fasts involves intending to fast before dawn and observing a full day of fasting, and similarly for the three days.
