The answer

If the questioner is able to make up the fasts she missed from the previous Ramadan, then she must hasten to do so. If she does not, despite her ability and without a valid excuse, then she owes a fidyah (expiation) for each day. However, if she is unable to make up the fasts now or has a legitimate excuse, then she does not owe any fidyah.

Regarding this year's Ramadan, if Ramadan arrives and she fears for herself if she fasts, she should break her fast and she must make up the days later. If she fears only for the fetus, then she must feed the poor (perform it'am) in addition to making up the fasts. She must make up the fasts and perform it'am if fasting would harm only the infant.
