What is the ruling on working for a company that sells alcohol and pork, and what should be done with the money earned from this work, knowing that the worker was unaware of the Shariah ruling at the time of their employment?

It is permissible to work for a company that sells alcohol and pork if the questioner's work is not related to their sale. However, it is forbidden to work in their sale, as it involves assisting in sin and aggression. Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." As for someone who engaged in prohibited work without knowing of its prohibition, the wealth earned before he knew is permissible, according to the Almighty's saying: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what has already passed."
