Does a man's divorce take effect if he threatened his wife with divorce if she did not open the door, and then verbally divorced her while angry, knowing that this is the final divorce and they have four children?

The fatwa we adhere to is that anger does not prevent the enforceability of divorce unless it leads to a loss of sanity. Thus, if a husband divorces his wife with an explicit utterance while he is of sound mind, the divorce takes effect. If this divorce completes the three pronouncements, she becomes irrevocably separated from him, and she is not lawful for him again unless she marries another man willingly, he consummates the marriage with her, and then he divorces her or dies, and her waiting period (iddah) expires.
