Is it permissible for a sick woman to recite the Qur’an and touch the Mus'haf without gloves for the purpose of learning, and is the fatwa of the Imam's wife in this regard correct?

It is permissible for a menstruating woman to recite the Qur’an and touch the Mus'haf (copy of the Qur'an) with the intention of learning and teaching, according to some scholars. This is a respectable opinion consistent with the Maliki madhhab (school of thought). As for a menstruating woman reciting from the Mus'haf and touching it without the intention of learning or teaching, the majority of scholars do not permit it except with a barrier. The more preponderant opinion is that it is permissible for a menstruating woman to recite the Qur’an without touching the Mus'haf. As for a sick person, it is permissible for them to recite the Qur’an, and they must perform ablution (wudu') or dry ablution (tayammum) to touch the Mus'haf.
