Still photography is permissible unless it depicts something unlawful, because it is merely capturing a shadow and does not involve imitating Allah's creation. It is better not to keep them to avoid disagreement and to prevent renewing sorrows. It is not permissible to burn photographs, but you have the right to prevent anyone you wish from bringing photographs into your home.
