Is it necessary to perform ghusl after the discharge of yellowish fluid with drops of blood, after which the irregular menstruation accompanied by pain stops?

If a woman sees specks of blood followed by a yellowish discharge for a day and a night, then it is menstruation (hayd), because a yellowish or brownish discharge connected to blood is considered hayd. This is the minimum duration of hayd according to the majority of scholars. However, if the specks of blood and yellowish discharge do not reach a day and a night, then it is not hayd according to the majority of scholars. The yellowish discharge that precedes specks of blood is not considered hayd unless it occurs during the woman's customary period. It is preferable to perform ghusl (ritual bath) after seeing specks of blood if they last for less than a day and a night, as a precautionary measure and to avoid scholarly disagreement.
