The answer

Yellowish or brownish discharge connected to menstruation is considered part of theid (menstruation) as long as it does not exceed 15 days. If the bleeding stops and is followed by yellowish or brownish discharge that is still connected to it, then you are still in hayd. If the yellowish and brownish discharge stops and you see normal secretions, then purity has been attained, and (ritual bath) and prayer become obligatory. Any yellowish or brownish discharge seen after that is not to be given attention, as it is not connected to the blood. If you doubt whether menstruation has ceased, the default is that it continues. If the blood and what is connected to it of yellowish or brownish discharge continues for more than 15 days, then you are considered to have (non-menstrual bleeding), and you must do what is obligatory for a woman with istihadah. Disregard intrusive thoughts and turn away from them.
