What is the ruling on shunning the wife of a maternal uncle who is accused of adultery (according to the law of the land, without four witnesses)? And is one held accountable for cutting ties of kinship if their heart is not at ease with it?

Allah has enjoined the joining of kinship ties and forbidden their severance. The kinship ties that are obligatory to maintain include fathers, mothers, grandfathers, children, brothers, sisters, paternal uncles, paternal aunts, maternal uncles, maternal aunts, and unmarriageable relatives (mahram). It is desirable to maintain ties with those besides these. The wife of a maternal uncle is not among the kin whose ties are obligatory to maintain; rather, it is desirable to maintain ties with her. Accusing a Muslim and slandering them with indecencies is among the major sins, and it is not permissible except with clear evidence, such as the testimony of four witnesses. It is advised to refrain from speaking about such matters and to avoid those with whom one does not feel comfortable.
