What is the ruling on a man severing ties with his niece due to a quarrel between his wife and daughter and his niece's husband?

Severing ties of kinship is a major sin. Allah Almighty connects with those who maintain kinship ties and severs ties with those who cut them off. Therefore, this man should fear Allah and maintain ties with his female relative who is keen on his affection. He should also strive to reconcile and mediate between her husband and those he quarreled with, instead of supporting his wife and daughter in their severing and abandonment of ties.
