Is it permissible for a wife who is in disagreement with her husband to reside in her married sister's house instead of her parents' house?

A wife is not permitted to leave her husband’s house without his permission or a valid Shar’i (religiously legal) excuse. Otherwise, she becomes disobedient (nashiz) and forfeits her right to maintenance (nafaqa). However, if her departure is due to a valid Shar’i excuse, such as averting harm from herself like physical abuse, then she incurs no sin and is not considered disobedient. In such a case, she may reside wherever she wishes, provided there is no mixing with non-mahram men (ajaneb), such as the home of her married sister, while observing the Shar’i guidelines if her sister’s husband is a non-mahram to her.
