Is it permissible to implement permanent birth control due to the wife's weakness and illness, the lack of private housing, and a large number of children?

Allah has guaranteed the provision of all creation and has forbidden the killing of children for fear of poverty, and He reproached the polytheists for doing so. It is not permissible to prevent procreation due to poverty or lack of housing.

However, if pregnancy causes a genuine hardship that the wife cannot bear, she is permitted to use the easiest available contraceptives, such as birth control pills. It is not permissible to use an IUD if there is an alternative, because it involves exposing one's 'awrah (private parts). As for the usual fatigue and hardship of pregnancy, that is a natural matter for women.
