The answer

A pregnant woman may break her fast if she fears for herself or her fetus, and she must make up the missed days. If breaking the fast was out of fear for the fetus only, then in addition to making up the days, she must feed one poor person for each day. If the excuse is removed, she must make up the fasts before the next Ramadan. Feeding or expiation does not suffice for making up the fasts as long as she is able to fast. Making up the fasts consecutively is not obligatory but is recommended. If she is unable to make up the fasts before Ramadan due to breastfeeding or similar reasons, then there is no blame upon her, and she must make them up whenever she is able.
