How is Hajj al-Mufrad converted to 'Umrah or Qiran?

A pilgrim moves from one ritual (nusk) to another in several ways, including:

1. From Ifraad to Tamattu‘: Permissible, provided they do not have a sacrificial animal (hady) with them.

2. Entering Hajj into an individual 'Umrah (Qiraan): Permissible, provided they have not yet started the circumambulation (tawaf) of the 'Umrah.

3. Entering 'Umrah into Hajj (Qiraan): Permissible, provided they have not yet performed any of the rituals of Hajj.

4. Annulment of Hajj into 'Umrah without performing Hajj: Not permissible.

5. Annulment of Tamattu' into Ifraad: Not permissible.

6. Annulment of Tamattu' into Qiraan: Permissible by consensus (ijma‘), especially for those with an excuse such as limited time or menstruation, as happened to 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) when she entered Hajj into her Tamattu' 'Umrah because she was unable to complete it due to menstruation before standing at 'Arafat.
