Is it obligatory to perform ghusl for prayer and purity if semen touches the body without intercourse, or is it sufficient to wash the area that was touched by the semen?

If semen is discharged with pleasure, a ritual bath (ghusl) becomes obligatory, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "If you gush forth water, then perform ghusl." This is the view of the majority of jurists. However, if semen is not discharged, or if it is discharged without pleasure (due to illness or similar reasons), it is recommended to wash whatever part of the body it has touched, but ghusl is not obligatory, based on the purity of semen. Alternatively, washing whatever part of the body it has touched is obligatory according to the view that considers it impure.
