Is it permissible for a woman to assume ihram from the plane and perform Umrah directly from Jeddah airport, or must she assume ihram from the miqat for the people of Mecca (Taneem), if she has come from Dhahran to Mecca in Ramadan and has not yet performed Umrah?

A woman passing through the Miqat on her way to Mecca must enter into a state of ihram from there and not delay it, based on the words of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "They are for them and for whoever comes upon them from other than their people, among those who intend Hajj and Umrah." It is not permissible for her to pass the Miqat without ihram. If she enters into ihram from the place she departs from, that is permissible, although it is better not to enter into ihram before reaching the Miqat.
