The for the people of Riyadh is Wadi Al-Sail. It is not permissible to pass the miqat without entering into . A traveler by air must enter into ihram on the plane when parallel to the miqat. Ihram is the intention to enter into the rites. Whoever is able to remove sewn clothing on the plane should do so. Otherwise, they should not abandon what they are capable of doing concerning ihram. One can prepare for ihram before boarding the plane and make the intention at the miqat. Whoever passes the miqat and enters into ihram from Mecca must offer a dam (sacrificial animal) to be slaughtered in Mecca and distributed among its poor. For whoever desires another after completing the first, it is permissible for them to enter into ihram from Al-Tan'im.
