What are the signs of the evil eye, envy, or sorcery that can indicate their occurrence in a person?

The evil eye is real, and it is prescribed to seek protection from it through the authentic adhkar (remembrances) and ta'awwudhat (supplications for seeking refuge), and ruqyah shar'iyyah (Islamic exorcism/incantation) is permissible for one who is certain of affliction, or suspects it, or even to ward off harm before it occurs, while keeping away from charlatans and relying solely on ruqyah from the Quran and Sunnah. It is advised to fear Allah in all matters, especially in trade, and to avoid riba (usury/interest) and prohibited transactions; for whoever fears Allah, He protects him and provides for him from sources he could never imagine, and whoever relies on Him, He suffices him. Riba causes the wiping out of wealth, removes its blessings, and leads to calamities and losses. It is mentioned in the hadith: "Though riba may increase, its ultimate end is scarcity."
