Why did the Prophet (peace be upon him) refuse the marriage of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) on account of her young age, even though he married Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when she was young?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, refused to marry his daughter Fatimah to Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, due to her young age. Instead, he married her to Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, taking into consideration the close age proximity between the spouses, due to its effect on compatibility and affection.

This does not contradict the Prophet's marriage to Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, when she was young, because age compatibility can be overlooked if there is a greater benefit, such as the virtue of the older husband. It was also said that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had already intended to marry her to Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
