Is a wife obligated to remain with a husband who does not pray, lacks morals and religious commitment, and threatens her with scandal and taking away the children or withholding their maintenance, or should she seek a divorce and rely on Allah for her sustenance and the sustenance of her children?

The questioner is advised to seek Allah's help and strive to reform her husband by encouraging him to maintain prayer, associate with righteous people, attend gatherings of knowledge and remembrance, listen to beneficial admonitions, cooperate with him in obeying Allah, and seek help from some relatives or people of religion and righteousness. If the husband becomes righteous and treats her well, then praise be to Allah. But if that does not work and he remains in his state, then separation is better in this case.
