The legal attire for a Muslim woman has specific characteristics. If the wife is excessive in her dress, it is better to be patient with her, supplicate for her righteousness, advise her kindly, and seek help from those whose words she accepts. Divorce is permissible if there is a need for it, but do not hasten to it unless it is highly probable that she will not reform. In such a case, separating from a woman who is excessive in her religious matters is commendable. It is not permissible for the husband to allow his wife to go out adorned in a way that shows off her beauty, because he is commanded by religious law to prevent her from what leads to her corruption.
