Hijab and Modest Dress

• What is the ruling on wearing an abaya or a long skirt with a bottom slit that reveals part of the leg, and what is the ruling on that if she is wearing a sock that covers the slit?
• Is saying, "O Lord, make me fatter so I can wear abayas," considered a vow, knowing that the intention was to wish for weight gain and to wear abayas that please God, without intending a vow, and is it permissible for a woman to wear modest skirts and blouses with abayas?
• Is it permissible to wear a decorated garment under the شرعي (Shara'i) dress, then remove it upon arriving at a women's gathering and suffice with the embellished garment?
• Is the questioner sinful if his mother does not respond to his repeated advice regarding shaking hands with non-mahram men and uncovering her face in front of them, and her wearing a decorated hijab that attracts attention, knowing that she does so and communicates with them frequently by phone, and because he fears angering her, bearing in mind that she rarely leaves the house?

• What is the ruling on wearing a graduation gown, taking into consideration that it should not resemble church attire, such as being similar to a dress, and what are the regulations for the শরعي (Sharia-compliant) abaya?
• Is it permissible for a woman to wear a loose abaya and a khimar that covers the arms to the elbow, with the rest of the arm remaining covered by the abaya, or must the khimar cover the arms completely, or must the abaya’s sleeve be tight to the body to prevent the arms from being outlined? And is she sinful if the loose abaya reveals her body’s details due to wind, movement, or sitting? And what is the required limit for the wideness of Islamic dress? And when ascending stairs, is it sufficient to wear thick, long socks or tight trousers that do not reveal skin color under the abaya when part of the legs become visible, or must one wear wide trousers? And is informing others about having worn trousers previously considered a public disclosure of sin, and how can one answer without lying, and is it permissible to disclose this with the intention of encouraging other women to adhere to the Islamic hijab?
• Is it permissible to post pictures on "Facebook" of female doctors participating in a blood donation campaign, provided they are wearing the legal Islamic dress, without makeup, and without mentioning their names?

• To what extent is a father responsible for guiding his children, and is it permissible for him to beat his daughter and deprive her of education for refusing to wear the prescribed Islamic dress?
• Is it permissible to ask a teacher about his academic experience and the difficulties he faced in his life?
