Is it permissible to divorce a wife who is negligent in her hijab, goes out without proper Islamic attire, and assaults her husband with screaming, insults, and disobedience, despite the husband's religious and financial commitment?

A husband is permitted to divorce his wife who is negligent in observing hijab, goes out immodestly adorned, and disobeys him in what is right. Indeed, divorcing her may even be recommended if means of reconciliation fail, and it could even be obligatory. Her disobedience to him, such as going out without his permission or cursing him, is considered "nushuz" (rebellion). If the wife does not abandon this rebellion, the husband has the right to refrain from divorcing her until she relinquishes some of his rights to him.
