Is it permissible to divide the 'Aqiqah for the newborn by slaughtering the first sheep in one month and the second in the following month?

The Sunnah is to sacrifice two sheep for a boy and one sheep for a girl, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A boy is mortgaged by his aqiqah; sacrifice for him on the seventh day, name him, and shave his head." If one separates the slaughtering, there is no harm in that, though it is better to combine them for those who are able. If one sacrifices only one, it suffices and is acceptable, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "When I command you to do something, do as much of it as you can."
