Good character increases faith and contributes to the success of the caller to Islam, while bad character diminishes it and hinders the call. It is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon their brother for a worldly matter for more than three days. However, if the harm caused by the Muslim woman is not deterred by advice, and the harmed party sees that continuing to associate with her will cause her or her child harm that she cannot bear, then there is no blame upon her for abandoning her and reducing opportunities for interaction with her. Nevertheless, one should not cease greeting her with salam upon meeting.
