Does divorce take effect if a husband pronounces it under the influence of extreme anger, knowing that he took his wife back and acted as if he had divorced her?

A husband's jealousy over his wife is praiseworthy if it is due to a suspicious matter, and blameworthy otherwise. A husband's threat of divorce does not constitute a divorce. His statement, "You have gotten what you wanted," is considered an announcement of divorce if he is truthful. As for anger that causes loss of awareness, divorce does not occur with it. Divorce after a valid private meeting (khalwa) obligates the full Mahr (dowry) and the waiting period ('iddah) for the woman. It is incumbent upon the woman to observe the Shariah guidelines in her work, including not intermingling with men unless there is a necessity.
