Are the Hajj and Umrah of one who resided in Mecca un-ihramed, then entered ihram for Umrah from outside Mecca, at Masjid Al-Umrah, valid?

If someone intends to perform Umrah while they are within the Mawaqit ( Miqats ), they should enter into ihram from their current location, unless they are within the Sacred Precinct (Haram), in which case they must exit to the Hill (non-Haram area) and then enter into ihram for Umrah. This is based on the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "The Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq to go out with her to al-Tan'im, so she performed Umrah after the Hajj." As for someone who intends to perform Hajj while they are within the Mawaqit, they should enter into ihram from their current location, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "And whoever is less than that (within the Mawaqit), then from where he starts, even the people of Makkah from Makkah."
