What is incumbent upon a husband who repents from adultery, indecencies, and watching and filming his wife without her knowledge, so that Allah may accept his repentance and forgive him?

"Congratulations on your resolve to abandon forbidden acts, along with an emphasis on sincere repentance from adultery and its مقدمات (preliminaries), and avoiding mixing with foreign women, based on Allah's saying: 'And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.' [Quran 17:32]

You are also given glad tidings of the opening of the door of repentance and Allah's joy at those who repent, and the changing of their evil deeds into good deeds, as evidenced by Allah's saying: 'Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones.' [Quran 25:70] And the hadith: 'The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin.'

It is clarified that sincere repentance involves abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, and staying away from the preliminaries of the sin. There is no harm in marrying a chaste, religious Muslim woman if the current wife is not sufficient. All forbidden pictures and pictures of the wife that non-mahram men could see must be removed."
