The answer

A husband should not reproach his wife for what she has repented of. She, in turn, should overlook his actions and associate with him in a good manner, cooperating in obedience to Allah. Sincere repentance erases what came before it, and one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin. Rather, evil deeds are transformed into good deeds. One must increase in righteous deeds, supplication, and good thoughts of Allah, for Allah is as His servant expects Him to be, and He rejoices at the repentance of His servant.
