Is what the questioner is doing—excessively searching for signs of the Hour and interpreting events in the world in light of that, which has negatively affected her family life and future—correct or incorrect?

It is not permissible to delve into determining the time of the Hour and its signs, because knowledge of it rests solely with Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, guided the inquirer about the Hour to focus on preparing for it with righteous deeds. Therefore, it is obligatory to busy oneself with what benefits and brings salvation on the Day of Resurrection.
