What is the ruling on a Muslim working in the field of information technology and computers for companies that deal directly or indirectly with usurious banks or commercial insurance companies, knowing that the employee does not directly engage in the prohibited systems, and it may be difficult for him to find work entirely free from such ambiguities?

There is no harm for an employee to work in a permissible field within a company that also has impermissible operations, as long as their work is permissible and they do not directly engage in or assist with the forbidden matters. However, if they directly engage in or assist with the forbidden, then a portion of their earnings would be unlawful. It is better for a Muslim to seek lawful work free from doubts, and "whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better," and Allah provides for those who fear Him. The existence of impermissible transactions within companies does not affect the lawfulness of one's salary, as long as their work is permissible. And when a matter becomes difficult, it will eventually become easy, and "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity."
