What is the ruling on working for a telecommunications company that provides IT services to various companies, some of which operate in forbidden fields, knowing that the nature of the work does not allow for determining the proportion of forbidden companies? And is it permissible to transfer to this company despite doubts about the permissibility of some of its dealings, given that the current work is permissible but uncomfortable?

There is no harm in working for the aforementioned company, provided that the work is not connected to assisting usurious banks or prohibited institutions. If the worker can avoid engaging in services specific to those prohibited institutions, then there is no harm upon him. Otherwise, it is not permissible for him to assist those who commit unlawful acts in their falsehood, based on the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." If the current field of work is permissible, it is still better to distance oneself from work that might involve the unlawful, for the lawful is better than the unlawful, and "the bad and the good are not equal." A Muslim should fear Allah and be moderate in seeking sustenance, for what is with Allah can only be attained through obedience to Him.
