Contracts and Wages

• What is the ruling on my current work as a waiter in a restaurant where there is mixing of sexes, immodest display, and extravagance, and what is the ruling on embezzling money from the extravagant, and what is the ruling on stealing from the employer to reclaim my right that was unjustly withheld?
• Is it permissible to accept payment for establishing a company that sells quality control monitoring systems for television broadcasts, and would I be sinful if the company sold its systems to corrupt channels?
• Is money taken for sheltering laborers who work for themselves permissible or forbidden, and is it obligatory to deport the laborers or transfer their sponsorship if the money is forbidden?
• Is the additional wage recorded by the monitor for the questioner's father, without the municipality's knowledge, considered permissible (halal), on the grounds that the questioner is helping his father in his work?

• What is the ruling on the money the state obtains from taxes on citizens, and is it considered forbidden in itself or due to its acquisition, knowing that the state possesses natural resources and spends these taxes as wages for citizens in exchange for their work, and are these wages forbidden for the citizens?
• Is it permissible for a relative who works in his father's factory and receives a commission for car repairs to take the difference between the actual cost and the amount paid by the customer? Is it permissible if the car owner is unaware, or if he inflates the invoice amounts to take a percentage, claiming the car owner is stingy? Is this money considered unlawful?
• Is it permissible for an association to allocate a portion of zakat funds as wages for its employees? Is it permissible to delay the disbursement of zakat for organizational reasons or to verify cases? Must zakat be paid in cash, or can it be in the form of projects or equipment?
• Is the work of a mother in the department of employee retirement files, and the calculation of the Suez Canal Authority bonus granted by the government to workers in Port Said governorate, permissible (halal)?
• Is it permissible for my father to take a monthly financial return from the workers who work for themselves in his establishment, based on an agreed-upon percentage, regardless of profit or loss?
• What is the ruling on the first partner (the financier) demanding that the second partner (the property owner) bear the full loss, given that the partnership was dissolved by the second partner and he sold the merchandise to someone whose trustworthiness is questionable?
• Is it permissible to eat from the money of a judge who rules by man-made laws?
• What is the ruling on receiving a salary or wages for Islamic or Da‘wah designs?
• What is the ruling on opening a store to rent video tapes, including those that are indecent, those that are purposeful, and children's cartoons? Is it obligatory to close these stores, or can they be utilized? What is the ruling on the money earned from them? Is it permissible or forbidden? What is the ruling on an employee working there?
• If a man sells his daughter out of poverty, would the ruling pertaining to female slaves apply to her?
• Is it permissible for me to charge the client for shipping costs and the price of the curtains under the item of manufacturing wages for wooden desks, so long as the client requested it, because he cannot request another disbursement from the government agency?
• Is the mother's and brother's income considered unlawful due to their absence or delay from work while signing attendance? And is it permissible to benefit from their money or to reside in an apartment that the brother prepares? And must the questioner suffice with the father's pension for their expenses?

• Is not paying the broker's fee considered an injustice, and what is the evidence for that?
